Debra Williams, Senior Consultant, served in Texas state government after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. and M.B.A. Throughout her career, Debra held high profile positions managing IT procurement and strategy. Her career highlights include IT leadership positions at the Employees Retirement System of Texas, Department of Information Resources, Railroad Commission of Texas, and Health and Human Services Commission, as well as client executive roles in the private sector.
In these roles, Debra led statewide strategic planning efforts and statewide technology initiatives, working with advisory councils and the Texas legislature on technology policy and modernizing laws governing public information, disaster recovery and security. She crafted and negotiated the state’s largest end-to-end seat management services contract as well as major enterprise software agreements. Her professional experience includes several terms on the International Board of Directors of ISACA, working with many diverse companies and industries around the world on matters of IT governance, control, and security.
As a Senior Consultant, Debra leads our market intelligence initiatives, leveraging expertise in budgeting and planning for IT operations, projects, and procurements in Texas state government.
